      Tata Bolt expected to come after Zest launch

      Much like the Zest sedan, the Bolt hatchback from Tata Motors has been one of the most awaited vehicle this year. Tata Motors had unveiled the first look of this car at the February held Auto Expo event in the country. The Bolt hatchback is said be based on the Vista platform, but technologically the car has undergone a complete overhaul.

      Tata Bolt is expected to be powered by 1.2 Litre MPFI Turbocharged petrol Revotron engine that generates about 83 bhp of power at 5000 rpm with 140 Nm of torque at 1750 - 3500 rpm. The power-train has been combined to F-tronic automated manual transmission. Moreover, the car is loaded with interesting features like ABS, EPAS, speed sensitive power steering and Active Return function. Moreover, the car is loaded with next generation Harman infotainment system that lets you access the entire collection of videos, music and more on the 5 inch touchscreen.

      On the exterior, the hatchback sports a floating roof spoiler. Its look is further enhanced due to the smart placement of fog lamp bezels. Signature Tata grille with Humanity line highlight the young and sporty spirit of the car. The Bolt hatchback has been made a reality owing to valuable design inputs from three Tata Motors design studios located in Coventry (UK), Turin (Italy) and Pune (India).

      On the other hand, the Zest sedan from Tata shall be powered by a 1.2 Litre MPFI Turbocharged petrol Revotron engine that generates about 83bhp of power with 140Nm of torque. The sedan shall also be available in a diesel variant and shall be powered by a VGT 1.3-litre multijet diesel engine that generates about 89 Bhp. Both the engines have been mated to a 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission gearbox. The Automated Gear Shifter feature on the diesel version shall earn Zest the title of being cheapest automatic diesel sedan in the country.

      The sedan is stated to be based on Drivenext philosophy and shall feature F-Tronic Automated manual transmission technology. The car is loaded with safety features like feature ABS, EPAS, speed sensitive power steering and Active Return function. The car shall also get next generation Harman infotainment system that lets you access your entire collection of videos, music and more on the 5 inch touchscreen.
