Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of the new and sporty Alto Turbo RS at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The company has already revealed the vehicle ahead of its debut on January 9 in Chiba.
The Turbo RS concept is based on the recently introduced JDM-spec Alto Kei car. The vehicle offers a sporty appeal and provides an improved performance over the regular model. At the 2015 Tokyo Auto Saloon, the company will also unveil the J Style version of the WagonR Stingray hatchback.
Its wheel arches have been fitted to sporty 17-inch alloy wheels with red finish. The other features include Recaro seats and new “RS” badging. The Alto Turbo RS concept will be equipped with lots of chrome embellishment on its fascia, outside rear view colours finished in red colour, bumper lip, etc. It also features a restyled bumper with fog lamps and it also features red and white stickers on the sides.
The exact engine specifications of the car are yet to be revealed. The Alto Turbo RS is expected to get a 660cc engine that also powers the regular model. This engine offers two states of tune- 48bhp and 51bhp, but we believe that the company might add a turbocharger to boost its power and performance.
