      Ssangyong Tivoli Compact SUV to unveil today

      Mahindra-owned Ssangyong is all set to launch the much-awaited Tivoli compact SUV in the Korean market today. The South Korean automaker has already released few details and studio photographs of the SUV on its official website. The Tivoli is basically the production version of the X100 compact SUV concept, which had been earlier showcased at several auto shows across the world.

      Talking about interiors, the Tivoli features a dual-tone layout in a black and red color scheme; however, customers can customize the layout. There are silver inserts for the Air conditioning vents. The feature list includes flat-bottomed multifunctional steering wheel, automatic climate control, a central touchscreen with integrated Maps and multi-information display, etc. The other additions include perforated seats, tablet holder and switchable instrument cluster display.

      For passengers’ safety and security, the compact SUV features seven airbags (driver and co-driver, side curtain and driver’s knee), ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), etc. The crossover offers an impressive luggage carrying capacity of 423-litres, which can be further expanded by folding the second row of seats. It will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel options- a 1.6-litre units coupled to manual and automatic transmissions.

      The Ssangyong Tivoli crossover will be offered in eight exterior shades, white or black contrast roof and five variants will be on offer. The vehicle will be launched globally in the second quarter of this year; however, the company is yet to announce that the compact SUV will make its way to India or not.
