Mahindra Two-Wheelers seem to be positive with its very first 110cc scooter in India – Gusto. The company officials believe that Gusto shall aid in better brand penetration in the eastern region. Speaking more on the occasion, Amarendra Kr Verma, Mahindra Two Wheelers zonal business head (east) was quoted as saying Contribution of the eastern region in Mahindra's national scooter sales is 30-33 per cent. So far we were into 125cc scooters. We were waiting for the product to register sales volume.
The Mahindra Gusto is powered by 110cc M-TEC engine. The company claims that it is indeed India’s first scooter that gets a height adjustable seat. The best-in-class ride experience is offered due to 12- inch wheels and a telescopic suspension with air springs. The scooter also boasts about receiving category-first features like Remote Flip Key, Find-Me Lamps and bright Halogen Head Lamp with LED Pilot Lamps. The officials do not want to reveal the official date of much awaited Mojo scooter in India, but based on reports, it is expected to be launched sometime soon.
