The Indian unit of European car maker Skoda Auto announced the launch of pre-monsoon check-up camps for its customers in the Indian market. The company will be providing a thorough 30 point check-up to the vehicles of visiting customers in these camps, so that their vehicles can be prepared well for the upcoming monsoon season. The camps will be held at all Skoda sales and service facilities in the Indian market.
While in the state of Tamil Nadu, the pre-monsoon checkup will be performed from 15th August to 31st August, in the rest of the country, the check-ups will be performed from 15th June to 30th June. The check-ups will include cleaning pollen filter, wheel alignment, brake pads, cleaning plenum chamber, taillights, wipers, checking headlights and many such tests.
In a statement, Mr. Thomas Kuehl, Director and Board Member (Marketing and Sales) at Skoda India, said, “We at Skoda strive to enhance the satisfaction levels of our customers. We value our customers and therefore we initiate such preventive & maintenance campaigns from time to time. The Pre-Monsoon Check Up campaign besides offering a thorough check-up of the car would also educate the customers on basic guidelines on safe driving in the rains.”
