This time around it’s the new M3 sedan and M4 Coupe breed from BMW that has held the attention of many enthusiasts. Moreover, when the country’s God, star cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is himself present at the venue, it goes without saying on the amount of flak and attention that the car beside him would command. The BMW M3 has been launched for about Rs.1.19 Crores, whereas the M4 Coupe is up for grabs at about Rs.1.21Crore in India.
As per new nomenclature adopted by the company, the sedans shall carry the odd-number badge, whereas convertibles and coupe shall feature an odd-numbered badge. At the event, Philipp von Sahr, was heard as saying, “A new chapter in the fascinating history of high performance sports cars from BMW M GmbH is beginning.” Apart from featuring different body styles, both the vehicles have receives a similar powerhouse under the hood. The vehicles are powered by massive 3.0 Liter turbocharged engine that is capable of churning out enormous 431 PS of power and 550 Nm of torque output figures. Along with an optional manual transmission, BMW has offered the vehicle with 7-speed dual clutch transmission box.
Speaking on the difference aspect, the M3 is basically a 4-door sedan, whereas the M4 being a coupe shall be offered in 2-Door trims. Both the vehicles are capable of attaining max speed of about 250 Kmph and is capable of doing a hundred in just about 4.1 seconds. Inside the cabin, the M4 gets Analogue dials and smart 6.5 inch tablet for your entertainment needs.
