Royal Enfield has been the country's favorite thumper. Similar to Harley's that rule the streets in the USA, the thumpers from Royal Enfield has been ruling the streets in its segment in India. Proving its popularity in the two-wheeler segment, Royal Enfield has reported a 47.45% increase in its total sales in October with 26,039 units as against 17,659 units sold in the same period last year.
Interestingly, domestic sales of Royal Enfield has also grown to 47.4% with 25,510 units reportedly being sold last month as against 17,306 units noted in the same period last year. Export of Royal Enfield bikes have also grown up by 49.85% with 529 units as against 353 units in the previous year.
Earlier reports have also emerged that Royal Enfield has been planning on launching an adventure bike trim for the domestic market. It is likely that the bike may be launched at a lucrative price tag of Rs. 2.5 Lakhs. More details on this bike has not been revealed by the company and may be known at a later date.
