In a bid to ramp-up its capacity in the Indian market, premium bike maker Royal Enfield has reshuffled its management structure, adding independent vice presidents for its marketing production and industry department. Royal Enfield is a unit of Eicher Group and is based in Chennai. After garnering fame from its iconic creation Bullet in last few decades, the firm is one of the most sought after bike makers in the Indian market.

Company's chief executive Venki Padmanabhan has executed these changes as he considered it to be in line with company’s expansion strategy in the Indian market. While elaborating the motive, Mr. Padmanabhan said "Part of my excitement is to reinvent one of the oldest motorcycle manufacturers as a modern automotive company.” He added that it is a flat structure with four key people in the team, including him, who will run the company seamlessly.

After serving the firm at the role of senior vice president of Marketing & Sales, Shaji Koshy will be taking over as independent senior vice president of the marketing department. On the other hand, the product department has been handed over to Natarajan Krishnan, who is from Unit Construction Engine department.
