Rolls Royce, the BMW owned British luxury car brand, is all prepared for the launch of its Wraith model in the Indian auto market. Scheduled to be launched on 19th of August, Wraith happens to be the most dynamic and powerful Rolls Royce ever made. Based on the manufacturing platform of Rolls Royce Ghost, Wraith has been tested across the Nurburgring circuit in order to ensure that the model lives up to the confidence of the auto maker. The model was recently unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and is said to be a perfect blend of luxury, refinement and craftsmanship.

The upcoming model from Rolls Royce is powered by a 6.6-litre TwinTurbo V12 engine, which has the potential to belt out a maximum power of 624 bhp along with a peak torque of 800 Nm. Owing to its hassle free 8-speed automatic gearbox, the model can smoothly accelerate from 0-100 kmph within just 4.6 seconds.

Showcased at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed, the model received immense appreciation from critics and industry experts. The interiors of this model are nicely done with superior quality leather and wood veneers, which makes it appear more like a luxury yacht rather than a car. Although Wraith is based on the Ghost, it will have a shorter wheelbase of 183 mm, 40 mm wider rear track, 130 mm shorter length and 43 mm lower height.

In the initial stages, the model will be brought as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), which will surely take its prices to a higher notch. Industry experts are of a view that Rolls Royce Wraith will prove to be an ultimate car; however its price can astonish the Indian buyers. Although nothing is confirmed as of now, industry experts believe that the model will be priced close to Rs. 4.5 crore.
