Expressing his delight on the announcement of 'Freedom Campaign', the Senior Vice President (Commercial Vehicle Business Unit) at Tata Motors, R. Ramakrishnan was quoted as saying, “Tata Motors' commercial vehicles have been an integral part in the nation's economic growth wherein the Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicle Range of Trucks and Buses have played a pivotal role - be it inter and intra-city goods transport, specific applications or passenger transport. Our customer-centric and innovative offerings promise high up-time and low maintenance, and in these challenging economic circumstances, help enhance the business proposition for the vehicle owners so that they may run their businesses with 'Freedom from all worries' about their Tata vehicles in the fleet.”

Reportedly, the 3 year or 3 lakh km extended warranty will be offered with the entire MCV range of buses and ICV Trucks range. Also, the cost of ownership has been reduced for company's 7T, 9T and 11T Trucks and MCV buses, as its engine oil interval two-folded from the current 20000 km to to 40000 km. It must be noted that the Triple Benefit Assurance happens to be the industry's first scheme, which offers zero depreciation insurance and includes coverage of loss of income. The customer is also entitled to a reimbursement of the entire cost of vehicle as per the ongoing price when there is a total loss.

Multi-tiered AMC rates are also offered by Tata Motors under its new services, which provide a higher flexibility and options to its buyers, in order to meet the varying needs of customers. The 24x7 Tata Alert service for ICV trucks ensures that if a vehicle meets with some glitches, it gets back on road within 48 hours from the time of starting of restoration work. If the vehicle is demanding major repairs and it is carrying perishable goods, this service also offers load transfer assistance. With 'Tata Alert', the drivers are provided with an on-site breakdown assistance in just 4 hours of dialling a toll free number (1800-209-7979).
