After revealing the first look of 2015 Skoda Fabia, the company has now unveiled yet another image of the premium hatchback featuring interiors of the hatchback. Bestowed with the Skoda’s cliché configuration the new Fabia gets a suave layout that focuses more on the functionality. Upping the comfort quotient inside the cabin is the enhanced elbow room in the front that now measures 1401 mm, around 21mm more than its predecessor and 1386 at rear, about 2mm more than the outgoing version.
The highlight of the new Fabia is the ample space it offers to the occupants inside the cabin. Boot space too has been increased by 15 litres at 330 litre. To create more loading space rear seats can be folded. The company claims that the new Fabia will come with 17 “Simply Clever” features such as ice scraper in the fuel filler cap. Fabia is the first model from Skoda to get MirrorLink technology that through a USB connection enables the driver to curb smartphone apps from infotainment screen.
Besides this the hatchback is likely to get equipments like multimedia device cradle on the central console, increased storage space in the rear doors for bottles, parking ticket holder on the left side A-pillar and two hooks in the trunk that will be offered as optional.
