      Renault India on steady growth path Clocks 6607 units in November 2012

      Renault India Pvt. Ltd, which is the fully owned subsidiary of Renault s.a.s maintained a steady sales figure of 6607 units in November 2012, which stood at 6790 units in October this year. Renault India, in the last 17 months, has launched five models and has expanded its network to 75 dealership outlets. This has made Renault India the company with the fastest growth in facilities and products in the country's automotive market. The dealership network is likely to grow to 100 facilities by the end of this year.

      Sumit Sawhney, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Renault India Pvt. Ltd, commenting on the sales of the company in November 2012 said, ”Although the market is still slow we are happy to see Renault maintaining steady progress as our products led by the Duster are finding ready acceptance with our customers. We have opened 75 dealerships in less than 18 months and this has helped us reach our customers pan India with our full stable of products.”

      Renault India achieved a sales figure of 6607 units which can mainly be accounted to the huge demands of its compact SUV, Duster that attained a sales figure of 5251 units. The company's Scala model clocked 807 units, Pulse 436 units, Fluence 82 units and the Koleos attained a sales figure of 31 units.
