      Range Rover Evoque facelift revealed; to get Ingenium diesel engine

      Land Rover, the British luxury SUV maker, has revealed the 2016 Range Rover Evoque facelift ahead of its official public premiere at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March. European deliveries of the SUV will commence from August, while India launch is expected by the year end or early next year.

      The updated SUV gets changes to both exteriors and interiors. The front fascia gets new grille design, new LED headlamps, and new bumper with LED fog lamps and new spoiler. It features new hood vents, while the wheel arches get newly designed alloy wheels.

      Inside the cabin, the Evoque facelift features new 8-inch 'InControl Touch' touchscreen infotainment system with six-speakers. Also on offer are new seat covers and interior trim, while the infotainment system will allow use to use their smartphone screen on the touchscreen display. It also offers 8-inch screens for the rear passengers with a 11- or 17-speaker option.

      The Range Rover Evoque is available in both petrol and diesel fuel options. While the petrol engine is a 2.0L Si4 petrol engine that produces 240PS, the oil burner is the 2.0L Ingenium unit that offers two states of tunes- 180PS and 150PS.
