Not much earlier, the Indian fans of the Pulsar were into a swoon of disheartening news that the smallest Pulsar 135LS will be discontinued. However, it seems Bajaj is gearing up well to fill the gap. The much-awaited Pulsar 150 NS was recently spied and spotted on the roads of Pune recently. The riders were asked by the company to test drive the bike for a fixed set of kilometres every day.

It looks quite similar of its elder sibling, the Pulsar 200NS, on which it has been primarily based. The Pulsar 150 NS, the naked sports edition from the renowned manufacturer Bajaj will feature the Triple Spark Ignition technology from Bajaj. This will definitely be sufficient to make it as efficient as the Pulsar 150 regular model. The engine will be ignited with three spark plugs; the same quantity of fuel should be required as compared to its regular sibling. Additionally, the peak power output is set to receive a boost due to its naked make.

Thus, once all the upcoming variants of Pulsar are on the roads, it is expected that the customers will get a power variation from 15 PS to approximately 24 PS. The higher end will be provided by the new Pulsar 200SS, which will be available some time during the later part of the year. All of this power output will be available within a price range of 70000 INR to 125000 INR. The 150 NS will be the fastest accelerating 150 cc bike due to its enhanced power output. Also, adding to that feature, the bike will be upgraded with high end mechanical parts like the monoshock and beefier swing arm that would give it better control and grip on the road.

It looks much like the bulkier 200 NS with the only differences being the slimmer rear tyre, presence of a kick starter, single seating and absence of liquid cooling technology. The 150 NS will have a tough competition from FZ version 2.0 and Suzuki Gixxer, which have already taken the fans by a swoon. FZ is among the best fuel-efficient bikes available in the market today, while Gixxer has been termed as the best looking bike of today’s generation. Bajaj will undoubtedly have a superior power output advantage. However, it is a matter of time to see whether it can take the crowd in a tizzy like its previous variants.
