Prince Charles, the longest serving heir apparent in British history, has planned a visit at the production plant of Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover in UK. Reportedly, he is expected to warn the Britain’s auto industry that it would lose its title of top notch quality manufacturers, if it will not promote entrepreneurship among the youth.
Reportedly, Price Charles will visit the auto maker’s production plant based at Halewood on Merseyside, North West England. Interestingly, Britain is a proud owner of its industrial heritage and is following the path to continue as the standard bearer of quality engineering and manufacturing, all across the globe. According to Prince Charles, Britain works on quality manufacturing in every field, right from traditional crafts to precise engineering skills.
According to sources, he will also introduce the Industrial Cadets programme at the visit, which is a national programme supported by the Department of Communities and Local Government to promote the youth for joining production industries. The idea was conceived after discussions between the officials of Tata Steel and Prince Charles in 2010. Reportedly, the Industrial Cadets are expecting to raise aspirations among the students, which are aged from 12 to 14, by promoting awareness of the production industry.
