A statement released by the company in this regard states that, “As we expand our global footprint, we will have a combination of global and local icons as our brand ambassadors as part of our brand-building initiative. However, currently there is no particular name which is under discussion. This is, therefore, speculative information.”

The company has also reportedly signed Sardar Singh, Indian hockey captain as the brand's ambassador for three years. Speaking more on the occasion, a source from the company said, “Tiger Woods wouldn't have too much traction in South America, while Rodriguez is a local hero and since he is just 23, he would have a longer shelf life as brand ambassador.”
