The Germany based leading luxury car maker Porsche is rapidly expanding its foot prints in the Indian auto market. The company had recently added one more dealer in its network with the opening of new Porsche dealership in the Bangalore city. Inaugurated on Monday, the new Porsche dealership is 3rd outlet of the company in the South India, as the company already has 2 dealerships in this region, one each in Hyderabad and Chennai. While on pan India basis, it is the 7th Porsche dealership in the country.
The new Porsche principle dealership in the city of Bangalore is located at Lavelle Road. The dealership will be head by Mr. Raghu Nayak. According to Mr. Ashish Chordia, Director of Porsche India, the interested buyers will have to weight for 3 to 8 months for the delivery of the car after booking. The company will offer its entire range of car models through this new Bangalore outlet. The showroom has a capacity to display 3 car models at a time.
After delivering about 134 cars to its customers in India in year 2010, the company is expecting this figure to reach the 500 unit mark in the current year. The company is looking forward to triple its sales in the Indian market, in coming two years.
