Actor Anil Kapoor unveiled India's first Formula 1 OPUS, which marked the launch of the luxury publishing house. Also present at the event were Amit Bhagchandka, Group CEO of RK Global, and Karl Fowler, CEO and Founder of Opus Media Group. This is the perfect time for the publishing house to be launched as the F1 mania is still on all over the nation. Formula One 2012 concluded in Buddh International Circuit just 2 days ahead of the launch.

The newly launched publishing house has an association with the eminent name RK Global. The event was attended by Bollywood stars, members of the cricketing fraternity and famous personalities and veterans of numerous fields like fashion, sports and business. Some of the prominent faces from the world of sports during the event were Gautum Gambhir, Olympic medallists Yogeshwar Dutt, Gagan Narang and Vijender Singh. “India is a huge country and we can produce world-class racers. Talent is not limited to the cricket field. There is an excitement and anticipation for other sports like Formula One and football, but it will take a few years for these sports to reach the level of cricket,” said Gambhir about the event.

The Official Formula 1 Opus is a manual with 852 pages of sheer thrill. It weighs 37 kg and the first copy has been signed by Anil Kapoor. The book looks attractive on the outside with covers of silk and leather. The fact that it is the heaviest and most elaborate publication of F1 ever gives it a different kind of recognition. The manual has numerous stories, pictures, illustrations and details of the sport.

Adding exclusivity to this edition of F1 Opus is the fact that 100 copies will be printed with a page signed by the champions of the sport who are alive. This version of the book is available in the UK for £20,000 and a black carbon fibre clamshell case has been designed for the book. Apart from this edition, known as Champions edition, the Classic edition is also available in India at a price of £2,000.
