October 21 is when Fiat will launch its new vehicle, Avventura crossover in India. Conceived on Punto Evo hatchback, new Avventura boasts of increased ride height and several other features. Avventura will be launched in both petrol and diesel engine options in three trim levels-Active, Dynamic and Emotion. The entry level variant, Active will come equipped with rear mounted spare wheel with cover and rear fog lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels and several other features. Inside the cabin, a two-tone dashboard, tilt adjustable steering, automatic door locking, front power windows, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, keyless entry, electric boot opening etc will be seen.
In addition to these features, the mid-level Dynamic variant will also come with get electrically-adjustable body coloured ORVMs, fog-lamps in the front, front and rear power windows, Anti-Lock-Braking system with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, height adjustable driver seat. Cabin will get audio system with Aux and USB compatibility.
Features exquisite to range topping Emotion trim include front and rear passenger airbags,rear AC vents, automatic climate control, leather wrapped steering wheel, steering mounted audio and telephone controls, rear wiper and washer, rear defogger among others.
Power will come from a 1.4 litre petrol engine capable of generating top power output of 89 Bhp along with 115 Nm. Diesel range will be employed with a 1.3 litre, Multijet diesel powertrain developing pinnacle power and torque of 92 Bhp and 208 Nm respectively.
The hatchback based crossover will compete with other vehicles like Toyota Etios Cross and Volkswagen Cross Polo in its segment.
