To maintain the impressive sales numbers and customer goodwill in the domestic market, Volkswagen has launched the new vento with fresh upgrades. The new Volkswagen Vento is priced between Rs 7.44 lakh to Rs 10.94 lakh (ex-showroom price).
Talk about changes and the new Vento may not be able to list out many, but this time around the new Vento has received a new diesel engine. The new diesel trim is powered by 1.5 litre TDI engine as against the previous 1.6 litre TDI powertrain. The new engine also continues to impress like its older sibling and continues to deliver performance figures of about 105 PS at 4400 RPM and 250 Nm between 1500 to 2500 RPM. The new well balanced power distributed engine has been mated to seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. Five speed manual transmission is further carried in both petrol as well as diesel trims. The exterior does not sport huge changes except for minor tweaks.
Volswagen Vento has been the country favorite pick in its segment and the new Vento also continues to impress like its older trims. As a fresh addition the new Volkswagen Vento is now available in new shade of Toffee Brown. Apart from this, the new version also gets projector headlamps and redesigned alloy wheels. As for the interiors, the sedan has received redesigned steering wheel with a flat bottom and further improved instrument cluster with MID and silver inserts in the audio system area. The interiors continues to carry the rich feel and impresses its occupants.
