Toyota's Innova has been a popular choice in the MPV segment in India. To usher in the new year with much glamor and hit the notes right, Toyota India has launched the new Innova trim at a lucrative price tag between Rs 10.51 lakh and Rs 15.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). A statement released by Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reads, “The launch announcement coincides with the commemoration of the successful journey of the company's flagship brand 'Innova', celebrating 10 years in India.” Apart from this, Toyota has also launched the new trim of Fortuner 4x4 Automatic at a price tag of around Rs 24.17 lakh and Rs 26.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
N Raja, TKM Director and Senior Vice President for Sales & Marketing has stated that both Fortuner and Innova have been trend setters in the Indian automotive industry. Speaking more on the occasion, he added, “Alongside the launch of these two new products, we are very pleased to announce that TKM is the first manufacturer in the mass segment to have standardized front SRS airbags across all our models and in all grades.” Occupants safety being of prime importance the carmaker has been delivering cars with standardized airbags features.
