The Japanese bike manufacturer was recently in limelight with the unveiling of its Yamaha R25. The concept version of this motorbike was showcased at Tokyo Motor Show and the company claimed that its production model will be launched in India in 2014. Yamaha R25 is equipped with a 249 cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which will use an advanced technique of fuel injection. The motorcycle has scintillating looks and it is believed that the styling has been replicated from Yamaha's M1 MotoGP bike. With telescopic front suspension and disc brakes melded on front as well as rear, this bike assures an enthralling ride. It will be priced in the bracket of Rs. 2.5 lakh – Rs. 3 lakh and will face a stiff competition from the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Daytona 250.

Industry experts believe that Yamaha India is entering a new chapter in its glory by revealing a flagship product. With Ray and Ray Z range in scooter segment, the company is boasting of a newly achieved accomplishment. Interestingly, the auto maker might be willing to cash on the rapidly inflating two-wheeler market in India, which saw a 16.59 per cent growth between April and September 2013. It is also expected that the company will come up with an entry level bike, which will target masses. Whatever the dubiety is, it will be eradicated only next year and till then we should hold on to our nerves to witness the new design from Yamaha India.
