Audi India is gearing up for the launch of much-awaited 2015 Audi TT in the country. The car has been spotted several times during its test rounds on Indian roads. Interestingly, the company has imported a series of new 2015 Audi TT in India, hinting towards an imminent launch.

The 2015 Audi TT shares its styling cues with the original TT as well as the Sport Quattro concept. The new model is based on the same silhouette, but it looks more aggressive than the previous model. The front and rear ends of the car are now sharper. At the front, the car has trapezoidal family grille and sleek headlamps with integrated LEDs on side. The bulging wheel arches have been fitted to newly styled alloys, which add more to its sporty quotient. At the rear, the 2015 TT features new bumper and LED taillights.

In India, the Audi TT is available in the petrol trim only. The 2015 model is powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI Quattro that churns out a maximum power output of 233PS and a peak torque of 370Nm. It is expected that the maker might also introduce the diesel version of the car here. The oil burner is a 2.0-litre TDI unit that is good for 184bhp and 380Nm of torque. Both engines will be paired to a six-speed S-tronic dual clutch gearbox.

The 2015 Audi TT will come via CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. It will compete against the likes of BMW Z4 and the Porsche Boxter.
