Skoda recently unveiled the 2015 Superb saloon in Prague, which is scheduled to go on sale in international markets in June. It was speculated that the sedan will go on sale in India by early 2016; however, PTI reports that the new Superb saloon will be launched in the second half of this year.
Inspired from the VisionC concept, the 2016 Skoda Superb has an all-new front fascia. It features a slender grille, flanked by bi-xenon headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lamps. The car has sculpted hood, shorter front overhangs and a "tornado line" that runs across the length of the car. It has sloping roofline and new LED tail lamps. The wheelbase has been increased by 80mm to offer a more spacious cabin.
Inside, the sedan has four new infotainment systems with one compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is equipped with 29 Simply Clever features such as a rear seat tablet holder, an umbrella in each of the front doors, LED flashlight, etc.
The Skoda Superb is announced in eight different engines, all has start/stop technology.
