American carmaker Ford has been quite popular in the international markets with its Everest SUV. Well known as Endeavour in India, the prices for the latest trim has been released in Australia. The vehicle is likely to go on sale in Australia sometime by early third quarter this year. As per the new price list that has been released, the top end trim i.e Titanium would be offered for $76,990 (about INR 38.0 lakh), the mid-variant Trend is offered for $60,990 (about INR 31.00 lakh) and entry level variant has been offered for $54,990 (about INR 27 lakh).
Under the hood, the new Ford Everest is powered by a 3.2-liter 5-cylinder turbo diesel engine that has been mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The fairly powered engine is capable of generating about 192 Hp of power with a peak torque output of about 470 Nm. The Four-mode Terrain Management System is indeed something that makes this vehicle a cut above the rest.
On the designing front, the vehicle gets interesting features like blind spot monitoring system that also reads out traffic alerts. The vehicle also comes loaded with tyre pressure monitoring system for safety. Entertainment factor is delivered at its best via 10-speaker audio system with subwoofer system. The pricing aspect however may vay for the Indian market and more details about the same shall be known at a later date.
