Some serious progress has been cited in the two-wheeler industry and 2015 seems promising for the Indian buyers. With KTM-Bajaj alliance the market did shake, and now the hidden progress of TVS-BMW dealership is showing its colours. It is rumoured that the alliance is working on the manufacturing of a bike with a capacity of around 300-500 cc. The project has been code named as K03. The reports went strong when a recent import of the bike by the name of BMW Motorrad was recorded.

However, some reliable sources say that the bike has been imported for proper testing of the chassis, exhaust and other such systems for the development of the new model. According to an old rumour, the first bike of the venture was to be designed in Germany, specifically in Munich, and the fine tuning and adjustments were to be done by TVS India.

The speculations about the configurations of the bike seems to stand no bounds of imagination, but the word has it that the series will start from engines having capacity of 300 cc, and will directly make it to the sports category. It is evident that most of the companies are investing in this range of bikes as there demand has seen a wide increase nowadays.

The work by the TVS-BMW alliance seems to be at high speeds with firms putting in as much input as they could. But with Benelli making it to India, and with the unveiling of the Duke and other variants, a tough competition to this collaboration is expected in the new year. Rest assured, the quality of the final product will be of its kind due to the high inputs and planning by both the auto makers.
