Mitsubishi Motors, the Japan based multinational automaker, has rolled out a revamped edition of its Trojan L200 pickup truck in a double cab model in Britain. The 2012 Trojan has been incorporated with attractive exterior tweaks with improved specifications. The cab pickup model will be shelved in the U.K markets at a starting price of £17,999 for the base variant, while the top end variant will be tagged at £19,324.
2012 Trojan L200 has been loaded with a an upgraded Euro 5 compliant 2.5L turbo diesel engine churning out 30 percent greater power from 136 bhp to 175 bhp and torque surging up by 27 percent from 314 Nm to 400 Nm as compared to the previous engine.
The vehicle’s exteriors endow minor cosmetic changes retaining its simple appearance, while major modifications have been effected on the engine and the interiors to upscale the performance and the premium feel. The top end variant of the vehicle has been furnished with attractive leather upholstery that further enhances the luxury appeal. New Trojan L200 is offered in two new and exciting colours- Aztec Red (Solid) and Cosmos Black (Pearlescent) and buyers who choose to buy the vehicle in Cosmos Black (Pearlescent) paint will have to an additional amount of £410 apart from VAT.
