      Mercedes Benz India launches Punjab's biggest showroom in Mohali

      As a part of ‘Year of Excellence’ strategy, Mercedes Benz India has opened its biggest showroom in Punbaj located in Mohali christened Punjab Motors Mohali. At the inauguration ceremony, Managing Director of the company, Mr. Eberhard Kern and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, Mr. Raj Naresh Singh were also present. The new 3S facility is also the first luxury showroom inaugurated in Mohali ever.

      The humongous facility is built over a vast area of 55,000 sq. ft. which also includes the workshop and showroom area. Mercedes Benz India has invested a whopping Rs 16 crore on the construction of new 3S facility in Mohali, Punjab. The larger than life showroom is designed to offer an experience full of luxury to the customers, various facilities will be provided including drive-in valet service, a plush customer lounge and an upmarket Cafe Mercedes that has a capacity to display 11 cars at a time. The list does not end here, some of the other facilities extended to customers include a wheel configurator, engaging audio-visual presentation, boutique collection and special play area for kids. Customers can also look out for finance and insurance solutions, an exquisite boutique for accessories and lifestyle merchandise and drivers lounge.

      There are 15 productive bays where 560 cars can be serviced in a month. 50 trained workers will fix problems related to general repairs, accident jobs, body paint, spares and maintenance work. Including the new Mohali showroom, Mercedes Benz India now has a total of 64 showrooms scattered in 36 cities across the country. The company witnessed surge in sales by 47% in financial year 2013-2014 with over 9500 units sold in that time period. Year 2014 also started on a good note with 27% rise in sales in the first quarter of 2014, the company achieved growth in sales due to introduction of four new models in the domestic market. By the end of 2014, Mercedes Benz India will roll out several new products under its ‘Year of Excellence’ strategy.
