Colin Trevorrow directorial Jurassic World, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, is set to hit theatres across the globe on June 12, 2015, and has created a lot of hype. The science fiction adventure film has been one of the most talked about summer releases and is expected to be a blockbuster. However, unlike the first two films, this one will not be directed by the great Steven Spielberg, who acts as an executive producer in Jurassic World. The film is going to feature a lot of action and many vehicles have been used in the production, including and especially the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe.
Mercedes-Benz and its GLE Coupe model have been used extensively. The Daimler-owned firm has previously been a partner of the film franchise and continues its association. A statement was released in order to make the association official between Mercedes-Benz and Universal Studios.
“On-screen, multiple Mercedes-Benz vehicles are once again in on the Jurassic action. Twenty-two years since the events of the original film, Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next instalment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. During their adventures in the jungles of Jurassic World, the characters played by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard put their trust in the off-road capabilities of various MercedesBenz vehicles – especially in the all-new GLE Coupé, which appears in its series-look for the first time,” it said. Other models from Mercedes-Benz that will be used in this film include G-Class, Sprinter, G63 and Unimog.
