As just a week is left for the high profile launch of new generation Maruti Swift, the country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki has launched two new videos featuring new Swift 2012. The car is slated to be launched in the country on August 17th, the day when company will be revealing all details regarding the pricing and specifications of the car.
As per the market speculations, the new Swift 2012 will be approximately Rs 30,000 higher as compared to its previous generation version. Moreover, the new Swift will be more spacious and more fuel efficient as compared to previous one. In addition to this, the power output has also been speculated to be improved to 90PS. The new Swift will be launched in both petrol and diesel versions as before.
Moreover, the new Swift will be featured with a series of upgrades including a wider wheelbase and a newly designed interior. A few changes at the exterior front are also expected including new front design and redesigned tail-lamps.
The excitement for the new Swift is at its best in the market as more than 40,000 units of the car have already been booked, even before the official launch of the car in the country.
Debuting in the Indian market in year 2005, the Maruti Swift has been one of the most preferred premium hatchbacks in the Indian auto market. So far, more than half a million units of this car have been sold in the Indian auto market.
