Though, it does not matter when you are spending lakhs of rupees on a car; however, it should be given a thought before going for such a model. On the long run, manual transmission requires lesser servicing and maintenance than an automated system.
A manual transmission car is often more difficult to drive as said by most users. Whenever you are taking an urban road, the chances of putting your foot on the accelerator and jamming the brakes are quite repetitive, thus requiring more gear shifts. In such a case, you have to have your hand on the gearbox continuously to control the car effortlessly. On the other hand, the automated transmissions are easier to handle, be it on busy urban or mountain roads. This gives you a more relaxed approach while driving. On the contrary, it is much easier to handle as the system automatically shifts according to the road conditions.
