Mahindra has launched the tweaked version of Xylo MPV at a starting price of Rs 7.52 lakh for the BS III variant while the BSIV variants price starts at Rs 7.66 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra has rolled out the revised variant of Xylo in two diesel engine options and five trim levels including D2, D4, H4, H8 and H9. The MPV has received few mechanical modifications, cosmetic upgrades and a couple of additional features.
Cosmetic changes include revisions made to the front and rear end of the MPV featuring chrome treatment. Other external modifications comprise of newly designed alloy wheels, some decals and new roof-rails. Inside the cabin, Xylo facelift features new black-beige colour scheme complemented by new upholstery. Additional features incorporated in the cabin comprise of a Bluetooth-enabled double-DIN audio system with voice commands, a new instrument cluster and steering-mounted audio and cruise controls. Other prominent features such as 60:40 third row, electric wing mirrors, front dual airbags, Anti-Lock-Braking system with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and reversing assist with digital display.
Engine set up includes a 2.5 litre, CRDe engine capable of developing top power of 93.7 Bhp, the engine is available on D2 and D4 trims in either BSIII or BSIV variants. A 2.2 litre mHAWK engine has been borrowed from Scorpio that is employed in the H4, H8 and H9 trims. The engine offers maximum power output of 118 Bhp and is matched to a 5MT320 five-speed manual transmission. Other vital mechanical modifications include revised suspension set up for enhanced ride quality. Please note that the BSIII engine will be made available in tier-3 cities or rural areas only.

The D2 BS III trim is priced at Rs 7.72 lakh, while the D2 BS IV is available for Rs 7.86 lakh, on the other hand D4 BS III is tagged a Rs 8.13 lakh, D4 BS IV is up for grabs at Rs 8.27 lakh, H4 ABS BS IV has been priced at Rs 8.76 lakh, H8 ABS BS IV is available for Rs 9.75 lakh, H8 ABS AIRBAG BS IV variant will cost Rs 10.12 and the top end trim H9 BS IV is tagged at Rs 10.93 lakh.
