Mahindra has confirmed the launch of its most anticipated SUV, the all-new Scorpio-N, in India on 27 June, 2022. The new-generation Scorpio-N utilises a new body-on-frame platform and a 4x4 drivetrain. Meanwhile, Mahindra will continue to retail the old model as the Scorpio Classic.
After a series of video teasers, Mahindra has revealed the exterior design images of the new-generation Scorpio-N. It appears larger in dimensions than the previous generation model. Regarding design, the SUV gets the new Mahindra logo, dual-barrel projector LED headlamps, C-shaped daytime running lights, LED fog lamps, new alloy wheels, and vertical rear LED lights. Going by the teaser video, it will most probably get four-wheel disc brakes.
Although Mahindra has not disclosed any interior details yet, as seen in the spy photographs, the Scorpio-N will come with a new and large touchscreen and an analogue instrument cluster with an MID. Besides this, the SUV is expected to come equipped with a host of features.
The Scorpio-N will be powered by petrol and diesel engines, which are likely to be the same units as the Thar, along with manual and automatic transmissions
