Limited Edition Renault Duster unveiled

Renault India, the domestic subsidiary of French auto maker, has showcased a special anniversary edition of its compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Duster. Reportedly, this model has been designed on the RxZ 110PS optional pack variant. It features new decals and an exclusive colour option, named Cosmos Blue. The special edition model comes fitted with a number of cutting edge features like leather seats, a touch screen infotainment system, satellite navigation, R16 alloy wheels and compatibility of Bluetooth, USB as well as AUX-in.

On the technical grounds, it comes equipped with a performance oriented engine, which churns out a maximum power of 108 bhp with torque of up to 248 Nm. Adding to its credentials is the six-speed manual transmission system, which transmits the produced output to its front wheels. Sources close to the development process stated that the anniversary edition Duster will be available till the end of October, 2013. Also, the individuals going for this model will be offered a number of benefits like exchange bonus of up to Rs. 60,000, added warranty of two years, four years' free roadside assistance and a membership of Gang of Duster Club. It is being said that the company has introduced this limited edition model of Duster on its first anniversary in the Indian auto market.

The launch of special edition model of Duster seems to have done at a right time as the festive season is in a full swing now. Industry experts are of a view that the launch of a new special edition of Duster will help the French auto maker to boost its sales in the Indian auto market in the festive season. It must be noted that a number of auto companies are introducing their special or limited edition models to lure the domestic buyers in festive season, wherein people tend to spend on automobiles. On the terms of pricing, it is being said that the new Duster will feature an almost same price tag as the standard RxZ diesel optional pack carries.
