      Land Rover reveals 2013 Freelander in a more dynamic and premium look

      Land Rover, the Britain based automaker and one of the leading premium off-road vehicle manufactures across the globe has revealed the first official images of the much awaited 2013 version of its flagship model, Freelander ahead of its official premiere scheduled at the upcoming Moscow Motor Show.

      The Land Rover Freelander facelift version has been developed to deliver high performance with immense comfort backed by the new engine line-up, availability of new colours, exterior styling tweaks and installation of class leading infotainment and safety features.

      Overhauling on the exteriors comprise of inclusion of most modern front and rear lights using the latest LED technology and the new signature graphic in the front running lights are the added highlights. Even the front grille boasts a revamped appeal.

      On the interiors, the premium rejuvenation has been incorporated with installation of a ‘Dynamic’ derivative that offers the choice of three colour options on the interiors, brand new centre console and 7 inch colour touchscreen working in tandem with the newly furnished premium Meridian audio system available in choice of 380W or 825W.

      The automaker offers the new Freelander in a choice of two high powered diesel engines - 2.2L engine with 150PS TD4 and 190PS SD4 with four-wheel drive.

      Convenience features include Passive Start replacing key dock, highly intelligent electric parking brake adjusting brake force as per the slope of the parking spot along with a rear view camera displaying rear view on the infotainment system guiding the parking and escorting of the vehicle.

      An innovative feature, ‘Say What You See’, a voice activation system will visually suggest the driver to orally command for actions to be taken to control the audio system, climate and phone systems and optional satellite navigation.
