      September 2014 is sure to witness launch of many new cars in India including the Lamborghini Huracan which was displayed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. After a grand unveiling at the 84thedition of Geneva Motor Show, the supercar has now been put on display in India. Hypothetical price of Huracan being speculated for the domestic market is around Rs 3.5 crores. The supercar has already roped in 1000 bookings ever since its debut at the grandiose event, prospective customers in India however will have to wait to book Huracan. Lamborghini has positioned Huracan as the replacement of Gallardo, which bid adieu in November 2013. In a time span of 10 years of its life, the company produced 10,000 units in first seven years of the car’s introduction and delivered a total of 14,022 units in 10 years making Gallardo a popular model among the luxury car enthusiasts.

      Gallardo’s replacement, Huracan, gets a robust 5.2 litre V10 engine that belts outs a staggering 618 PS and 560 Nm power and torque output respectively. The powertrain is paired with a seven speed dual clutch transmission which sprints the car from zilch to 100 kmph is 3.2 seconds and attains a top speed of 325 kmph. With the addition of start-stop feature, Huracan is able to return fuel efficiency of 8 kmpl.

      The jaw dropping beauty is equipped with the segment best LED head lights. The 20-inch wheels affixed on the car and the sweeping roofline bestow appealing looks to the supercar. Lamborghini Huracan is available in 17 colour options including the seven new colours.

      The front seats can be adjusted electrically and can also be proffered with armrests. Among the standard features, a navigation system with Bluetooth is included, however optical park assist for the front and rear is being offered as optional.
