Fans of the superhero franchise Krrish are set for a treat as the latest instalment in the series, named Krrish 3, is slated for a Diwali release. Amidst a lot of hype, the trailer of Krrish 3 was launched on 5th of August by the film makers on the their official YouTube channel. The trailer has received a tremendously positive response from both fans and critics, who are expecting the film to be an action extravaganza. As seen in the trailer, superhero Krrish will be seen performing a lot of amazing action stunts in the film, which involves several cars and bikes being destroyed to pieces.
Notably, cars and bikes have always been an integral part of superhero films. Over the years, Hollywood superheroes like Batman and Iron Man have been seen driving a lot of cool vehicles in their films. The Iron Man series of films with actor Robert Downey Jr. playing the protagonist have featured some of the finest cars of the world, such as the Audi R8 and Saleen 7.
The release of Krrish 3 is being anticipated highly by fans all across the country. It must be noted that the superhero films in India have not been so prominent in the Indian film industry. However, films like Ra.One, Krrish and Robot have been great commercial successes, prompting the makers to produce sequels. Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Ra.One was one of the most digitally advanced films to be made in the history of Indian cinema. The film contained a high number of VFX shots along with scenes in which numerous cars were blown and demolished. Krrish 3 also has a high number of scenes with special effects, the editing of which is being done by Red Chillies VFX post production studio.
A lot has already been said and written about Krrish 3, which stars Hrithik Roshan as the protagonist, Vivek Oberoi as the antagonist, Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut. The film is directed by Rakesh Roshan, former actor and the father of Hritihik Roshan. Krrish 3 will be hoping to ride on the success of Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish along with its popularity among children. The film, slated to release on Diwali, is touted to be one of the biggest commercial successes of the year.
Actors Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut were among the people present at the launch of trailer. The other star, Priyanka Chopra, was not able to attend the event as she was in Los Angeles. Present at the event, lead actor Hrithik Roshan talked about his triple role in the film. "Rohit's look was very difficult to attain. Koi Mil Gaya released in the year 2003, so we needed the character to look aged," he said. Notably, this was the first time after his brain surgery that Hrithik Roshan made a public appearance. The actor was injured while performing an action stunt while shooting for his upcoming film, titled Bang Bang, which also stars Katrina Kaif. A surgery was conducted at the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai to remove a clot in the actor's brain.
The film, scheduled to be released on 4th November 2013, will see Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi essaying negative roles. Not much has been revealed about the plot of Krrish 3 by the producers. However, as the trailer suggests, Krrish will be battling the character played by Vivek Oberoi to protect people from his atrocities.
