Toyota Corolla XLI belonging to Pakistani actress Meera was impounded by police for plying in a high security area in Islamabad without documents. According to media reports, to get back her car, Meera spent hours at the police station but all her efforts turned in vain. On Saturday, Meera’s car was seized near foreign office just before a joint sitting of parliament, which was to be addressed by President Asif Ali Zardari.
The driver has informed the police that he dropped the actress somewhere in the area but could not identify the exact location. He was also unable to provide valid documents to the authorities. When the driver called up Meera, the actress even failed to produce any documents. Once leaving the police station, neither the driver nor the actress retuned back. Meera has acted in several movies out of which many were made in India such as "Khulay Asmaan Kay Neechay", " 5 Ghantey Mien 5 Crore", “Kasak", "Godfather: The Legend Continues", and "Nazar".
