The first model of the United States based two-wheeler manufacturer Polaris Industries, is all set to make an impact on the Indian roads. Indian Scout, the bike is tagged at 11.99 lakhs INR, so says the brand. Booking are open for this cruiser bike and it will be made available at the leading dealerships of the company. The current locations of its dealerships are Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Guwahati, Cochin, Indore, Srinagar, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata, Nagaland, Ludhiana and New Delhi. The basic cruiser bike look has been maintained by the brand and it looks forward to become hot property on the Indian roads, where cruiser biking has witnessed immense popularity in the past decade or so.

The model has an exceptional 1131 cc V-twin engine, which is capable of producing a power of 100 HP. The design has maintained the basic structure of the Scout of 1920s to 40s, which had received a heritage status. The bike weighs at 253 kilograms, however its even distribution has made easy manoeuvring possible. The bike achieves a peak torque of 72 feet per pound, which is a sheer display of how evenly the power to weight ratio has been balanced. Together with a 6-speed overdrive transmission, the bike is set to scorch the streets, as soon as the fans get a grab of this bike.
