Hyundai is had introduced its new SUV in the Indian market this month. Hyundai Santa Fe was revealed to the Indian customers and has received a warm welcome in return. Hyundai has already received 535 bookings for the car as a pre-launch offer within just 15 days of its official launch.
Santa Fe, an already popular vehicle in the West, is pitted against some of the top SUVs in the country including Skoda Yeti, Ford Endeavor, Mitsubishi Outlander, Toyota Fortuner, Nissan X-Trail and Chevrolet Captiva.
Hyundai Santa Fe features a 2.2 L CDRi engine that generates 197 ps/4000 rpm with an amazing torque of 422 NM between 1,800 and 2,500 rpm. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 190 km/h and has 6-speed manual transmission and accelerates from 0-60 in 9.5 seconds. Hyundai Santa Fe mileage as per ARAI certification is 14.66 km/l. The car offers improved fuel efficiency at 35.6 mpg thanks to the low-resistance tyres and latest alternator management system introduced for the first time in the SUV by Hyundai. The cost of Hyundai Santa Fe luxury vehicle is Rs 20,95,000 for 2WD model and Rs 22,95,000 for 4WD model.
