In a recent statement issued by the country’s second largest automotive company, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), disclosed a major restructuring in the top level management only for its Indian operations. The highest ranking corporate position of Managing Director in the company will now be held by Mr. Bo Shin Seo, which was earlier designated to Mr. Han Woo Park.
Mr. Han Woo Park will be moving to Korea to act in his previous position as the Chief Financial Officer in Kia Motors, which is a subsidiary of the Hyundai Motor Company.
On his experience with HMIL, he commented, “I have lived 9 years in India; my long association with HMIL has provided me with an immense amount of learning. I am confident that HMIL will go from strength to strength under Mr. Seo’s leadership.”
With an enriched experience as the Production Head at Hyundai’s hi-tech plant at Albama and also as an Executive Director- Production prior to the new position, Mr. BS Seo said with high spirits, “I look forward to taking Hyundai Motor India to newer heights and working closely with the extended Hyundai family.”
It is also to be noted that the change in higher management level in HMIL is made soon after the revelation of marginal sales growth in the domestic market and a dip in the overseas market for the year 2011
