Hyundai will soon offer a new lower spec S+ diesel AT variant for the Creta. When it had launched the car in 2015, it was only offering the AT option with the diesel engine and that too in the top-spec SX+ variant.
This S+ variant is exactly similar to the manual variant and will have the same design and feature list. Standard equipment includes dual front airbags, climate control, electrically adjustable OVRMs, rear arm rest and AC vent, height adjustment for the driver’s seat and touchscreen music system.
Powering this variant is the 1.6-litre four-cylinder diesel engine producing 126bhp/265Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. We believe that Hyundai will price this S+ AT variant Rs one lakh more than the equivalent S+ manual version.
The current Creta SX+ AT is Rs 1.5 lakh more than the equivalent Renault Duster 110PS RXZ AMT. This new variant of the Creta diesel AT, S+, will have a similar price to the Duster and allow it to compete with the same.
