      Hondas Indian portfolio to witness a maximum hike of Rs. 93975

      The partnership of the Japanese auto giant, Honda and the Siel Limited in India termed as the Honda Siel Cars India Limited (HSCI) has announced a shoot up in the prices of its offerings to a maximum of Rs. 93975 in response to the hike in excise duties revealed at the 2012-13 union Budget release.

      The upbeat and trendy entry level compact hatchback, Brio will be shelved at a price range of Rs. 3.99 lakhs and Rs. 5.2 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) becoming expensive by Rs. 4000 and Rs. 10000 across its variants.

      The subcompact hatchback, Honda Jazz will witness a price rise by around Rs. 14972 to Rs. 15000 with a sales price between Rs. 5.75 lakhs to Rs. 6.31 lakhs (ex- showroom Delhi).

      The classy entry level sedan, Honda City will now be sold by the company at an increased price of Rs. 7.1 lakhs and Rs. 10.33 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) and will become dearer by Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10500 across its available variants.

      Honda Civic, the premium compact sedan is also set to command a higher price of Rs.12.59 lakhs and Rs. 14.88 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) with all its variants becoming expensive from Rs. 36600 to Rs 45800.

      The full-size luxury sedan, Accord manufactured by the automaker will command the highest price propel with the base and top end variant getting expensive by Rs. 67500 to Rs. 93975 and will fetch the company a whopping per unit price ranging between Rs. 20.29 lakhs and Rs. 27.37 lakhs.

      Honda has confirmed that the new prices on its vehicles will be tagged from 17th March marking that the deliveries lined up from that date will include the cost of hiked excise duties.
