HondaMalaysia has introduced a new teaser website called ‘Ride The Dream’ in connection with its upcoming new Honda Civic 1.5 Turbo.
This website gets viewers to glimpse what’s new in the upcoming Civic Turbo. So you will notice the Civic 1.5 Turbo’s LED headlamps with DRLs that are an upgrade from the ones that are on the current Civic in Malaysia. Power to the wheels will come from the 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged motor that uses a CVT transmission. With 173bhp and 220Nm of torque, reports state that this will be the first Japanese C-segment saloon, introduced in Malaysia, to have a downsized turbocharged motor.
Features on the Honda Civic 1.5 Turbo include an eight-way adjustable power seat, six airbags and electronic stability control. There’s electric parking brake, auto brake hold, and an auto lock feature which automatically locks the car when owners walk away from it. The remote engine start feature helps when you need to start the engine and air-con to keep the cabin cool when you’re ready to drive.
Honda has no plans of bringing the Civic back to Indian shores as of now.
