The Superbike Ride with Honda rally was organised over the weekend, inviting owners of models CB1000R, VT1300 CX, VFR 1200F and CBR1000RR. This event, inaugurated from Mumbai, started at Nasik and involved a number of fun activities. Notably, this is the first time that such an event has been organised in India, wherein owners of Honda Superbikes get to ride together. According to sources, the company wanted to give Superbike riders across the country to mingle with each other and exchange their views on the vehicles. This event was also conducted to promote these four models, which are available on sale in Honda New Wing World showrooms situated in New Delhi and Mumbai. Both these cities are said to have a high number of enthusiasts, who love sports bikes.
Honda Bikes & Scooters India had prepared an elaborate itinerary for the 25 Superbike owners, who began their journey towards Nasik from the firm's showroom in the Andheri East region of Mumbai, called the Honda New Wing World. According to sources present at the flagging off, onlookers were really excited to see a bevy of motorcycles zooming on roads. From Mumbai, this group of riders went to Sula Vineyards, located in Nasik, which are said to be really picturesque. Riders participating in this rally were visibly excited to participate in such an extravaganza. One of the participants of the Superbike with Honda rally, speaking in an interactive session, said how this event proved to be a great stress buster. According to sources, the organisers wanted participants to take some time out from their extremely hectic schedules and relax by doing something they loved a lot.
The itinerary of this rally involved stoppages at multiple beautiful locations, which included the lush green surroundings of Igatpuri, where participants stopped for a while. However, the real highlight of this rally was the ride to Sula Vineyards in Nasik, which are considered to be among the most popular wineries in India. Apart from this, safety riding drills were also conducted at the venue for all riders.
