In a bid to further strengthen its market position, Hero MotoCorp is planning to bring-in a range of bikes and scooters in the Indian market. Though, the first two products to be launched are the much-awaited new Hero Maestro Edge and Duet, which are scheduled for September 29, 2015. Just so you know, both the scooters have been spotted at a dealership prior to their launch in India.

Powering the Hero Maestro Edge and Duet will be a new 110.9cc single-cylinder engine that will produce close to 8bhp and 8.30Nm of torque. Transmission option on offer will be a CVT (continues variable transmission). The latest spyshots suggest that the new Maestro Edge will receive significant cosmetic updates, and sport a more contemporary design than the existing Maestro. It will feature a revised digital-analog meter console, new headlights and twin faux air scoops on either side of the front apron.

Whereas, the Duet will get the 3D emblem, chrome treatment on rear panels and twin hold grab rail. Hero will also offer lots of accessories with both the vehicles such as mobile charging socket, rear luggage hook, under seat luggage lamp, front inner box, rear luggage hook, women foot rest, etc.
