      Hero Electric launches Avior AMX for Rs. 19,290 and Avior AFX for Rs. 18,990

      Hero Electric has launched two new unisex e-cycles namely the Avior AMX and Avior AFX. The Avior AMX has been launched for Rs. 19,290, whereas the Avior AFX has been launched for Rs. 18,990. The prices are Delhi based. Prices in other cities may be higher by Rs. 3,000 or more depending on local taxes. The e-cyles are available across five metros in the country.

      The Avior AMX and Avior AFX has been designed for male as well as female riders. The e-cycles are powered by electric motor that is powered by lead acid batteries. The bicycle can be charged in just about 5 – 6 hours. The e-cycles comes equipped with 6-speed Shimano gears for ride control. The batteries are covered by one-year warranty and can be used with worry for about 14 months. Replacing them does not cost a bomb and can be replaced for Rs. 2,000.

      Speaking more about the e-cycles, Naveen Munjal, Managing Director, Hero Eco Group said, “I am very bullish about this product. These e-cycles bridge the gap between traditional bicycles and the entry-level scooters in the price range. We are confident that this will be accepted well by customers as a mass transport product.” Adding to this, Sohinder Gill, Hero Electric Global Business CEO said, “With the expected growth in the Indian EV industry, we are thrilled to introduce leading global technology to our patrons.
