The Roadster is the top of the line Sportster model in Harley-Davidson’s line-up. With chopped fenders and drag motorcycle-like compact riding stance, the Roadster gets a minimalistic character to it. It is powered by a 1202cc air-cooled V-twin engine, which delivers 103Nm of torque.  It has been priced at Rs 9.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The other two Sportster models – Forty-Eight and 1200 Custom have been updated with new paint schemes.

The Street 750 ABS on the other hand, is mechanically identical to the outgoing model. Apart from ABS, it also comes with a smart security system that is controlled by a proximity key-fob and new dual-tone paint schemes. These updates have bumped the price of the Street 750 by Rs 40,000 and it now retails at Rs 4.91 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Harley-Davidson unveiled its new family of engines earlier this year, called the Milwaukee-Eight. Developed to meet the Euro IV norms, this engine has now been launched in India in the Touring range as well as the CVO Limited. The two existing models – the Road King and the Street Glide Special have been updated with the new engine and are Rs 1.5 lakh pricier than the older models. A third model – the Road Glide Special has also been introduced with a price tag of Rs 32.81 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). And if you can afford something more expensive, Harley-Davidson has also launched its flagship model at just Rs 50.62 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Even the Dyna family of cruisers, which includes the Street Bob and Fat Bob, has been updated with new paint schemes with marginal increase in price. The Softail range though, comprising of Heritage Softail Classic and Fat Boy, is now dearer by over Rs 1 lakh thanks to the introduction of Twin Cam 110B engine. These bikes are now priced at Rs 26.49 lakh and Rs 31.25 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively.
