In a very fast reaction from Ford, it has announced that it would be reviewing its advertising in the News of the World, following shocking revelations and growing public backlash and hatred over the illegal and unauthorised hacking of Milly Dowler's phone. Ford is among the first, when it comes to large companies to announce such an action. It seems as the pressure the onus and accountability increased for both, the newspaper and those who were its clients seeking space in the newspaper. News of the World has made news frequently with everyday exhuming new problems within the organisation.

The company was the quickest to react to the revelations, which were out from the allegations, as it realised that no comments would jeopardise their image. Ford went furthest and acting extrovert it defined its comments as saying that it would be using "substitutes and seeking options of advertising in newspaper other than the blotted newspaper" while it awaited the outcome of the investigation. It also added it is a company which cares about the reaction, thinking and behavior of its loyal buyers and those with whom it deals with outside the company.

Ford’s recent global launch Fiesta premium sedan can be assumed as one of the main alleged reasons for its response in such a short time span. The car will arrive as the first of its eight new global vehicles slated for launch in India in the next 5 years. Ford has whole heartedly promoted the car is all set to engage and infatuate customers with its rare efficient kinetic design, advanced  features and future  technology that has been put into place.

Ford is not sitting hand over hands but rather using every miniscule effort to keep the strategies and plans intact with no changes at the eleventh hour that may be adverse for the carmaker.
