In a test that included competitors like Nissan 370 Z, Hyundai Genesis Coupe, redesigned Subaru Impreza WRX, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Dodge Challenger, Mustang Score ‘Very Good’ rating and overall score of 78 points. Chevrolet Camaro SS followed by 71 points.
“The Mustang topped this group by delivering strong acceleration, communicative steering and the most agile handling,” said David Champion, senior director of CR’s Auto Test Center in East Haddam, Conn.
Meanwhile, take a look at the Ford Mustang Premium V-6 convertible. Although it is not Mustang GT V-8 it is sure to get more eyeballs than any other car on the road. It is an affordable fantasy mid-size car.
The new super charged Mustang 2010 convertible is destined to be launched by Hurst Performance Vehicles in association with BFGoodrich Tires and it will serve as the official pace car for the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge. Hurst is the company responsible for several iconic pace cars launched in the history of racing cars.
